THE FOUNDER

Fulden Dehneli is an award-winning and globally acclaimed industrial designer.

Long before honing her profession, Fulden was at heart an idealist and visionary, sensitive to her surroundings, yearning to understand how things work – and look for better solutions. She has always had a natural sense of harmony and believes in the power of intentional creativity to shape a fair, beautiful and balanced living. That’s why she decided the title of Designer best allows her to practically realize her vision, as she believes design is the perfect tool to make dreams come true.

Born and educated in Turkey, she started her career in Stockholm at Electrolux, a world-known Swedish home appliances company. By virtue of this decisive step in her career-path, she could grow into a professional, widen her vision and adopt Scandinavian design together with its humanist values to her life and design process. Looking for new challenges in her career path and desiring to develop her skill set further, she then relocated to Shanghai. Being open to challenges and eager to embrace growth has made Fulden the globally-minded creative she is today, with a dynamic and authentic approach to her design thinking.

With a curious, open mind, she works passionately to create fresh perspectives and meaningful experiences that add value to people's lives. Fulden believes in a world where integrity is never compromised, where businesses genuinely care about users, and where they endeavor to create well-crafted, purpose-driven solutions. This vision is not only brought to life through her design work but with every action she takes, through her photography, stories, diaries and creating communities to share inspiration.

An old Chinese saying goes “山外有山 人外有人 – Beyond mountains there are mountains, beyond men there are men” which means there will be always new paths to discover, new things to learn, new challenges to face, but the important thing is to keep going on your own path and enjoy the journey with a curious mind. So now begins her journey about discovering new compassionate design solutions to bring her vision to life through f u l d e n d e .

This is your story as well as mine. How?

Every life is a unique story. We each try as hard as possible to shape our stories into something beautiful, something we can take pride in. The places we choose to live in, our daily routines and the products we use are all elements that contribute profoundly to the shape of our stories.

It’s awe-inspiring to realize how important the selection of these elements is not only because they reflect our taste, values and even define who we are, but also because every interaction can deeply affect our experience, emotions and perceptions, positively or negatively.

Hence, I feel responsible for making your story and mine as fulfilling as possible. I want to contribute to the creation of a world where design solutions are thoughtful, genuine and functional so that you can proudly make them part of your life and your story.

With the happy realization of Fuldende being a Danish word meaning “to perfect, to complete, to achieve”, in addition to being a portmanteau of my own name, I was even more assured of the feeling I wanted to invoke – the pleasing completeness of every element coming together in perfect harmony, the moment of “fuldende”.
